Sampling instructions are provided to the customer. Alternatively, appointed members of staff, on request, can collect the samples.

Water | Top |
Bacteriological Analysis:
Plate count, total coliforms, faecal coliforms, faecal streptococci, clostridium perfringens, cryptosporidium.
Chemical Analysis:
- Metals: Full suite of metals (lithium to lead).
Other: Conductivity, pH, chlorides, sulphates, sulphides, hardness, alkalinity, total dissolved solids, Langelier Index, nitrates, nitrites, ammonia, kjeldahl nitrogen, TON, TOC, potassium permanganate oxidisability, phenols, boron, surfactants, hydrocarbons, organochlorides, phosphates, fluorides, cyanides, chlorine, PAH, pesticides.
Water analysis can be carried out in order to ascertain compliance with the following regulations:

Chemical Analysis
- Metals: Full suite (lithium to lead).
Other: Moisture, fat, protein, carbohydrate, TVBN, ash, specific constituents - sugars, salt, preservatives, histamine in fish.
Microbiological Analysis
TVC (at 30°C and 37°C), enterobacteriaceae, coliforms (including faecal coliforms), faecal streptococci, staphylococcus aureus, salmonella, listeria, yeast and moulds, shelf life testing.

Soil:
The laboratory tests a wide variety of soil samples annually, under various headings, mainly REPS, but also for contaminated land investigation, remediation and site investigations for structural development.

Other: Lime requirement, pH, phosphorus, nitrogen, sulphur, chloride and iodide.
Soil from contaminated land:
Dutch intervention limit list, which includes a wide range of metals, inorganic and organic substances.
